Create a Peaceful Quiet Study Space for Maximum Productivity

“After weeks of trying to study in noisy, chaotic environments, I recently decided to take matters into my own hands and create a peaceful quiet study space with a SheShed Cabin in my backyard. Since then, I’ve seen an incredible difference in my focus and productivity.”

If you’re tired of struggling to concentrate while studying or working from home, read on and find out how to create your own personal oasis of peace and tranquility in one of our flat pack timber cabins that can fit into any size backyard.

Choose the Right Location

The first step in creating a peaceful quiet study space is finding the right location. A well-lit room with minimal distractions is ideal. You also want to make sure that the noise level is kept to a minimum so you can concentrate without interruption. Choose somewhere that will give you enough room to spread out your books and notes, but isn’t too large or overwhelming either.

Stay Organised

Once you’ve chosen the perfect spot for your quiet study space, it’s time to organise your materials. Make sure all of your textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, highlighters—anything related to studying—is placed neatly on shelves or in drawers so that everything is easy to find when you need it. This will save time when you’re looking for something specific and make it easier for you get into the groove of studying without having to search around for what you need.

Set the Mood

Finally, set the mood by adding some comfort items like candles or an essential oil diffuser (lavender works great to stay calm or peppermint to keep you awake and energised!) Playing some relaxing music like soothing acoustic or instrumental jazz in the background (but stay away from anything with lyrics). This will help keep any distracting thoughts from creeping into your mind while you work. Also consider investing in noise-canceling headphones if necessary – they really do work wonders!

Make It Multifunctional

Whether it is an extra room for guests to stay, a creative space to paint, sew or just a quiet space to read and rest. Your new cabin space can become whatever you need with some smart space thinking and a little creativity. Add in a bed, a beautiful comfy sofa and even an outdoor table setting for alfresco lunches in the garden. After all, the fresh air breaks will do wonders for your productivity.
