Creating a Permanent Staycation!

Because of Covid19 we’re all spending more time at home, and exploring our cities and local areas with Staycations. Have you thought about creating a permanent staycation? Whether it’s a backyard bar, reading retreat or poolside cabana, a She Shed is perfect for creating an enjoyable space in your own backyard!

When Covid19 stopped Jake & Michelle from being able to enjoy a cold one at their local, they decided to establish their own.

Introducing: “The Olde Misty Inn”

The Olde Misty Inn is a beautiful backyard pub. Jake & Michelle installed a lovely old bar into the corner of their shed, complete with space for hanging wine glasses, taps for pouring their favourite brew, and stools for their patrons, making this the perfect spot for a Staycation!

The addition of shelves with knick knacks gave it a real feeling of being in a country pub.

To further enhance The Olde Misty Inn and give it that relaxing backyard feeling, Michelle & Jake added a lovely outdoor seating area, with hanging baskets and a fire pit!

If a bar isn’t how you imagined creating a permanent staycation, maybe a relaxing reading retreat could be more for you?

Rebecca added a few beanbags and a deck with outdoor chairs to enjoy a book in the sun. Or you could add a comfortable couch and spend your days engrossed in a book.

Alternatively, you could turn your poolside area into the most tranquil spot in the neighborhood.

Dave and Vee furnished their poolside cabana with soft pinks and whites. A day bed (with a tv and wine fridge) has made their She Shed a place they’ll never want to leave.
