This stunning Mediterranean meets coastal luxe Hair Studio build for Waves Hair Salon, has been one of our favourite projects to see come to life. Beautifully curated by interior designer Nicola from She Creates Co using our Cabana Cabin Kitset. Every detail carefully chosen to perfection, this 3x4m space features custom rendered arched cabinetry, natural textures, and radiant brushed brass, to create a dreamy, light-filled, functional space.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?

At SheShed we have a range of cabins sizes that are great for a home business space, but depending on how big your business is, the two most popular sizes are the 9m2 Star Cabin and 12m2 Cabana Cabin.

The Star Cabin is our most popular choice for a home business, now also with the options to upgrade to Treated Timber, a mono-pitch roof Star Summit, or add a 3x3m canopy with the Star Canopy kitset. The Star cabin is 3m x 3m which gives you plenty of space for a beauty bed, an arm chair and a desk and is small enough to fit into most backyard spaces with ease.

Looking for a stylish option to create a beauty spa and treatment salon, Trish fell in love with the SheShed Star Cabin, which she now runs her Mount Maunganui based business The Beauty Den from. Creating a calm, warm and inviting space for her clients to truly relax.

“Putting it together was really simple and styling it to make it our own was so much fun!I wanted a modern, slightly industrial, moody space, like a Den. We have 2 black feature walls as well as the black beams on the ceiling, added a deck waiting room, block out blinds, heat pump, drop pendant lights in the corner and a dimmable LED light fitted to the center beam, with touches of copper and rose gold. From start to finish was 3 weeks in total but the shed was up in a day. The painting took a while, and the styling was so much fun!”

A LITTLE EXTRA SPACE?

The Cabana is 3m x 4m which will give you a metre more space. Great if you need additional shelving or an additional entry counter space like Lisa has created for the Waves Hair Salon.

Then for a more modern look, our Tussock range is a beautiful option, with its minimalist light-filled long line windows and doors and featuring a premium steel mono-pitch roof.
